| A
range of treatment processes combining thermo-chemical
diffusion with passivation and finishing treatments to
produce a surface having exceptional resistance not only
to wear, seizure, scuffing and fatigue but also and most
significantly, corrosion. |
 |
The ARCOR
process can be adapted to replace traditional duplex treatments,
ie. heat treatment and surface finishing, with a single treatment
which provides improved performance at reduced cost. By eliminating
the risk of hydrogen embrittlement, it can be considered as
a viable alternative to traditional electro- and mechanical
plating processes such as nickel, chrome and zinc.
ARCOR is utilised extensively in the automotive industry to
provide exceptional corrosion and wear resistance to performance
critical components that are exposed to the atmosphere. |
